Vanaf die eerste ossewa-spore en hand geskrewe Bybels van die Trekkers, is daar getimmer aan die skepping van die skrif. Bygevoeg, die smarte en pyn van ‘n gewelddadige nasie van die Apartheidsjare, tot die vryheid van 1994, waar die sagter en groener weiveld-invloed sigbaar word. Vandag, spog dit op die etiket van ‘n vleispasteitjie, by die jaarlikse Kerkbasaar.
